In our jail ministry last week we baptized six inmates.
One young man had come out of the Teen Challenge program and seemed to have a genuine love for God. The night before the baptism, I came to teach and met Avery. He had just been picked up by the authorities. He sat down with our group and in just a few minutes received the revelation of Jesus Name baptism. Without even knowing we had a baptism scheduled, he said he felt he need to get re-baptized right away. The following morning we plunged this energetic young man under the water, and God re-filled him with the Holy Ghost. He said he hadn't prayed through in two years. Later that day, the judge dropped both class C felonies against him and let him go home.
God has perfect timing!

Following 24 hours of concentrated outreach and evangelism of our city, we had 56 first time visitors last Sunday in church. And we baptized 27 of them in Jesus name! This week, we had 16 visitors, and baptized two of them in that precious name! We are so excited and our church is on fire! Yesterday, we had calls from eleven additional people asking if they could attend next week. We are filling up our vehicles and bringing them in!
Pastor Darron Hudspeth, Kirkwood, MO
We had ten people baptized today(April 26th). That makes 11 people this week. We have had over 300 visitors in the last six weeks.

Bro Padgitt,
LakeSaint LouisFamilyChurch had two young people receive the gift of the Holy Ghost at Youth Convention. One, a young man, who has no church background, had declared himself an atheist just two months earlier. In the last two months, we have had several new families come to the church who have had no Pentecostal background at all. Six have asked to be baptized! Another young woman from a Catholic background, after five years of coming to our church has decided that she too wants to be baptized. It seems contagious! God is doing drawing hungry people!
Also, we have been waiting for our site plan to be approved by Saint Charles County Planning and Zoning Department for over eight months. Just two weeks ago, it was approved! We had over 112 in attendance for our Easter service with many standing until children left for classes. We need our building project completed yesterday. We would appreciate any prayers for the Building Department of Saint Charles County in swiftly approving our building plans so that we will have adequate seating and educational space for our services.

Bro. Padgitt,
Bro. Graham was kind enough to bring his Evangelist, Bro. David Smith, and some Gateway students and saints from Sanctuary to a special service we had for our exchange students on Saturday night. Two Chinese men prayer through to the Holy Ghost in that service attended by around 30 people. One of the men had already been baptized and we baptized the other on Sunday night at The Sanctuary. These men are in addition to the ones who received the Holy Ghost at the Sanctuary and that were baptized by Bro. Graham.
These men are the first exchange students we have had who have received the Holy Ghost while here in St. Louis. We continue to hear of many who receive the Holy Ghost after they return to China. We ask that the district pray with us that we have a similar break thru with our Vietnamese students also.
Bro. Huttegger
Bro Padgitt,
We are thankful to report that 2 received the Holy Ghost in our service this past Sunday morning. During the past 3 months, 4 have been baptized in water, and 4 have been baptized in Spirit. Marilyn Brown, Jackson MO

A teenager named Vanessa McKenzie had been visiting our church. A few months ago she was put in the hospital for a condition that the doctor’s could not identify. All that they knew is that she could not retain food and her body was deteriorating (she lost over 50 pounds and was in the hospital for close to a month). Members of our youth group went up and prayed for her. One week later she was sent home under careful watch. She could not leave the house for more than two hours a day and she still had a tube in her body for feeding. Our youth group turned one of our Wednesday night service into a special prayer service, we brought her to church, and prayed for a miraculous healing. One week later they took the tube out. Furthermore, when they looked at her stomach lining, which had been torn up with scarring, it was perfect. She came with her family last Sunday night and we baptized her. Two of her sisters had previously received the Holy Ghost.
